Terms and Conditions, Czech Green Building Council 

Introductory provisions 

1. These Terms and Conditions and Complaints Procedure (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") of the Czech Green Building Council, z.s., ID No.: 22835661, with its registered office at Drtinova 557/10, Prague 5, 150 000, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section L, File 20619 (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer") govern the rights and obligations in the sale of tickets for Green Buildings 2026 conference (hereinafter referred to as the "Event") organized by the Organizer through an online interface.

2. These Terms and Conditions for the purchase of admission tickets form an integral part of the contract concluded between the Organizer, as the seller, and the Buyer of admission tickets to the Event via the online interface. By purchasing admission tickets, the Buyer confirms that they have read and understood these Terms and Conditions for the purchase of admission tickets.

3. The Organizer sells tickets via an online sales form on the website https://www.setrnebudovy.cz/.

4. The Organizer can be contacted using the contact details provided on the website in the Contact section or on the website https://www.czgbc.org/cs/kontakt  

Subject matter of the contract 

  1. The subject matter of the contract is the Organizer's obligation to deliver tickets to the Buyer for the Event of their choice and the Buyer's obligation to pay the admission price. 
  2. The contract is concluded upon payment of the admission price by the Buyer. 
  3. The Organizer undertakes to deliver the tickets to the Buyer without undue delay after payment of the admission price, provided that the tickets will be sent in electronic form to the email address provided by the Buyer when registering for the Event. The Buyer is not entitled to have the tickets for the Event sent before the full amount has been paid. 

Rights and obligations of the contracting parties in relation to the event for which the tickets are purchased 

      4. By purchasing a ticket, the Buyer undertakes to comply with the rules set by the Event Organizer.  

      5. The Event Organizer reserves the right to change the program and, in exceptional cases, the date and venue of the Event. By purchasing a ticket, the Buyer acknowledges this right of the Organizer. 

Ticket purchase and payment terms 

  1. The ticket price is listed individually for each Event. The Organizer is not a VAT payer and the ticket price is final. 
  2. When purchasing tickets via the online sales form at https://www.setrnebudovy.cz, payment for tickets can be made by bank transfer or online card payment. 
  3. The organizer is not responsible for any costs incurred by the buyer in connection with the purchase of tickets arising from the contractual relationship between the buyer and the bank that maintains the buyer's bank account through which the buyer paid for the tickets. 
  4. The Buyer orders the participant's attendance at the Event by filling out the online purchase form and confirming their agreement with the Terms and Conditions and the Method of Personal Data Processing. Tickets are always issued on the name of the participant.
  5. The Organizer shall confirm receipt of the order by e-mail and by sending an automatically generated order, which serves as the basis for payment of the admission fee. 
  6. The organizer reserves the right not to accept an order and/or to unilaterally cancel an accepted order and refund the admission price paid by the buyer if the number of participants exceeds the capacity of the event. 
  7. The Buyer undertakes to pay the admission fee to the Organizer by the due date specified in the order, but no later than the start of the Event. If the admission fee is not paid by the due date, the Organizer may withdraw from the contract. If the admission fee is not paid by the due date, the Organizer cannot guarantee a place at the Event. 
  8. The Buyer is entitled to propose to the Organizer by e-mail a change to an order that has already been accepted, to the extent that another person will participate in the Event as a substitute participant in place of the participant registered by the Buyer. This change is effective upon written confirmation by the Organizer.  
  9. The Buyer agrees that the Organizer may issue orders, invoices, and credit notes in.pdf format and send them to the email address provided by the Buyer to the Organizer in the registration form. In this regard, the Buyer declares that they actively use the email address provided to the Organizer.  
  10. The Buyer is entitled to propose to the Organizer by e-mail a change to an order that has already been accepted, to the extent that another person will participate in the Event as a substitute participant. This change is effective upon written confirmation by the Organizer. 
  11. Cancellation fees for cancellation of participation are as follows: 

            a. Cancellation of participation up to 48 hours before the Event: The Organizer shall refund 100% of the ticket price paid to the Buyer. 

             b. Cancellation of participation less than 48 hours before the Event: The Organizer will not refund the ticket price paid. 

Online payments

Online payments are provided by the Comgate payment gateway. The service provider, Comgate a.s., is a licensed payment institution operating under the supervision of the Czech National Bank. Payments made through the payment gateway are fully secured and all information is encrypted. More information and contacts at www.comgate.cz.

Withdrawal from the contract 

  1. If the Buyer is a Consumer, they have the right to withdraw from a contract concluded via the Internet within 14 days of concluding the contract.  
  1. However, the Consumer does not have the right to withdraw from the contract if it was fulfilled with their prior express consent before the expiry of the withdrawal period (i.e., for example, if the Consumer participates in an event that takes place before the expiry of the specified period, they cannot subsequently withdraw from the contract). 

Complaints Procedure 

  1. The Organizer shall not be liable for the failure to deliver an electronic ticket to the Buyer for reasons attributable, in particular for reasons that it is not possible to deliver the ticket to the Buyer at the e-mail address provided by the Buyer. 
  2. If, for serious reasons, the venue or date of the Event changes or the Event is completely canceled, the Buyer will be notified of this fact immediately by email to the address provided by the Buyer in the purchase form.  
  3. If the Organizer changes the date or venue of the Event, the Buyer has the right to a refund of the admission fee if they do not agree with the newly proposed date or venue of the Event.  
  4. If the Organizer completely cancels the Event, the Buyer has the right to a refund of the admission fee.  
  5. The Organizer will refund the admission fee to the Buyer in the same form in which the admission fee was paid, no later than 30 days after notification of the change of venue or date or notification of cancellation of the Event.  

Personal data protection 

  1. During the sale of tickets, the Organizer processes the personal data provided by the Buyer when purchasing the ticket in accordance with the Personal Data Processing Policy. 
  2. The Organizer takes photographs and makes audiovisual recordings at the Event and may, at its discretion, further process, use, and transfer them to third parties, or publish them through any media. If the Buyer does not agree to the taking of photographs, they may communicate their disagreement to the Organizer or photographer at the Event. 

Final provisions 

  1. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions for the Purchase of Tickets proves to be invalid or ineffective, this shall not affect the validity and effectiveness of the other provisions of these Terms and Conditions for the Purchase of Tickets, which are separable from the invalid or ineffective provision. 
  2. The Organizer is entitled to change these Terms and Conditions for the Purchase of Tickets at any time. 
  3. All provisions of these Terms and Conditions for the Purchase of Tickets and the contractual relationship between the Organizer and the Buyer are governed by Czech law.
